Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyaan' via video conferencing on August 2, 2026, saying drug-free, physically and mentally healthy youth are essential to building a Viksit Bharat.
It is a nationwide, 100-week "Jan Bhagidari" (public participation) campaign against substance abuse, mobilising youth, educational institutions, and civil society under the umbrella of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyaan.
