Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan approved central assistance of ₹605.71 crore for Rajasthan and Telangana on 13 August 2026. The funds come under two umbrella agriculture schemes — the PM Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (PM-RKVY) and the Krishonnati Yojana (KY). Rajasthan will receive ₹340.59 crore, split into ₹216.12 crore under PM-RKVY and ₹124.47 crore under KY. Telangana will receive ₹265.12 crore, split into ₹157.66 crore under PM-RKVY and ₹107.46 crore under KY. The Ministry cleared this fresh instalment after Rajasthan utilised 76.06% and Telangana utilised 60.93% of their first Mother Sanction amounts.
